Over 400 local and regional growers and industry leaders met tocelebrate Nunhems' 29th annual Onion Showcase. The event, which is one of the Treasure Valley's longest running, was held Aug. 30 at a Story Farms onion field in Roswell.Nunhems celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Vaquero, one of the brand's most successful long-day onion varieties. The event included lunch, festive hats, gifts, and themed birthday cakes. A fun 30-second video was also created to remember the occasion.
