Onion Production from Transplants

摘要

Increased interest in an earlier start for onion harvest has led to interest in transplanting onions. Our earlier research showed that when onions are grown from transplants, they can be harvested in July. This trial evaluated the performance of four onion varieties in 2014 grown from transplants produced in a greenhouse at the Malheur Experiment Station, in Ontario, Ore., and one variety brought in from Arizona.
