World Energy Outlook 2012

The quantity and quality of energy supply is central to the future. This annual report is, by far, the most extensive and authoritative survey of energy trends, which are projected to 2020 and 2035. Much press attention, at least in the U.S., has been given to the startling forecast that the U.S. will become the world's largest oil producer by 2020 (see below). But there is much, much more to this important report that deserves attention.
