ConRad - Global conference on radiation topics - Preparedness, response, protection and research - Munich, 13-16 May 2013

In this special issue of Health Physics, selected presentations of the 20th Munich Medical Defense Conference, held from 13-16 May 2013, are published. The conference was presented for the first time under the new name, "ConRad-Global Conference on Radiation Topics-Preparedness, Response, Protection and Research," taking into account the unique opportunity given at this event to bring together a broad spectrum of international experts (civilian and military) from all over the world as a forum for professional and multidisciplinary exchange of experience and expertise in this particular domain.
