Toray to Launch Japan‘s First Sales of PMMA Hemodiafiltration Device

Toray Industries Inc.(TYO:3402)is launching sales in Japan of a polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)hemodiafiltration(HDF)filter that uses hollow fiber membranes.It is the first product of its kind in Japan to be made of PMMA,which excels in biocompatibility and removal performance.After approval for manufacture and sales was obtained in August of this year,it was included in official insurance listings on Nov.1.
