China’s Yangtze River Protection Law Creates Issues for Suppliers

Having put its Yangtze River Protection Law into effect just this January, China has moved quickly to enforce this – and do so in a strict manner. In a number of cases, suppliers along the Yangtze River basin are being required to halt or move their facilities, hindering business operations. And since the new law affects the entire country, there is a sense of disarray in regions farther away from the river basin as well.
