Bioceres “comparable” agchem sales up 29% in Q4

Argentine agrochemical and seed company Bioceres' crop protection “comparable” revenues rose by 29% in the fourth quarter of its ?scal 2020 ended June 30th to $28.1 million. Bioceres has introduced the term “comparable” to refiect a metric excluding the impact of IAS 29. The latter divides nominal Argentine pesos for the Argentine operations by the average foreign exchange rate of the currency against the US dollar over the period. The peso has suffered volatility. The company also gives “reported” results with IAS 29. Reported crop protection sales fell by 4% to $26.5 million.
