EU further delays potential Austrian glyphosate ban

The deadline for comments on Austria’s intention to ban the herbicide, glyphosate, has been extended until November 19th. The Czech Republic has raised objections to the Austrian policy via a “detailed opinion”, a move that automatically extended the deadline by three months beyond the standstill period, which ended on August 19th, Bayer told Agrow. As such, the Austrian ban cannot progress during that period.
