Nufarm warns of Aus$215 m impairment charge on European business

Nufarm expects to recognise non-cash, impairment charges in relation to its European assets of some Aus$215 million (US$158.6 million at the current rate) in financial statements for the year ended July 31st, 2020. This comprises a pre-tax impairment of intangible assets of approximately Aus$190 million (US$140.2 million) and a derecognition of tax assets of approximately Aus$25 million (US$18.4 million). The write off is subject to finalisation of its ongoing audit.
