APVMA performance on agchem registration remains over 90% in fiscal Q4

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) completed 94% of pesticide registrations within statutory timeframes in the three months to June 30th, which was the fourth quarter of its 2020 fiscal year. That compares with 97%, 92% and 83% in the prior three quarters. The Authority commenced 349 pesticide product registrations and finalised 271 during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020. It had 522 in progress at the end of the quarter, with 98% within timeframe.
