FMC sales rise 7% in Q3

FMC posted a 6.5% rise in agrochemical sales to $1,080 million for its third quarter ended September 30th. Organic sales grew 15% over the corresponding period last year, with a 12% contribution in the form of volume growth and 3% from improved prices. The gains were offset by 8% because of foreign currency fluctuations. Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 20% to $263 million.
