UPL opens India unit to make clethodim

UPL has established a manufacturing facility for producing the herbicide, clethodim, at Jhagadia in the Indian state of Gujarat. The post-emergence herbicide is used for the control of annual and perennial grasses in a wide variety of crops. Clethodim became a part of the company’s portfolio thorough its acquisition of Arysta LifeScience in 2019.
