EU con?rms nine fungicides for water monitoring

The European Commission has con?rmed the addition of nine fungicide active ingredients to the “watchlist” of chemicals that are monitored to gather data on their potential risk to water sources. The decision, based on recommendations from the Commission’s Joint Research Centre, covers seven azole fungicides, imazalil, ipconazole, metconazole, penconazole, prochloraz, tebuconazole and tetraconazole, plus dimoxystrobin and famoxadone.
