Nihon Nohyaku records improved agchem sales of 65 bn in 2020/21

Japanese company Nihon Nohyaku posted agrochemical sales of 65,386 million ($595 million at the current rate) in its fiscal year ended March 31st 2021, while operating profit for the period stood at 5,998 million ($54.6 million). The company notes that it achieved enhanced sales and benefitted from efforts to align the distribution of agrochemical products with timings of their use. This is Nihon Nohyaku’s first disclosure of annual earnings since implementing a new fiscal schedule and changing the end of its fiscal year from September 30th to March 31st.
