Mitsui Chemicals Agro to acquire Meiji’s agchem business

Japanese company Mitsui Chemicals’ agrochemical subsidiary, Mitsui Chemicals Agro (Tokyo), has agreed to acquire the agrochemical business of Tokyo-based Meiji Seika Pharma. The deal involves the integration of Meiji Seika Pharma’s active ingredient portfolio, drug discovery, formulation and natural product technologies, and domestic and international customer base with Mitsui Chemicals Agro.
