US seed technology company Inari (Cambridge, Massachusetts) has forged a collaboration with US maize breeding business Eden Enterprise (Adel, Iowa). The deal allows the company greater access to Stine’s maize breeding programme, instituted by Eden’s president Harry Stine. The collaboration builds on an agreement in May between Inari and West Point, Iowa-based soybean breeders Mertec and MS Technologies to access Stine’s soybean breeding programme.
