摘要

The New Zealand Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has approved Japanese company Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha’s (ISK) isofetamid-based fungicide, Kenja, for the control of bunch rot (Botrytis cinerea) and powdery mildew (Uncinula necator) in grapes. In July, the EPA had sought public opinion on approval of the active ingredient and the end use product. The decision follows a request from ISK’s New Zealand-based subsidiary, ISK New Zealand, to import Kenja as a concentrate to be applied to grapes using ground-based methods.
