FMC interview: We will see more consolidation, collaboration and discipline in biologicals

Sanjiv Rana talks with FMC’s director of global plant health, Benedicte Flambard, to discuss the company’s strategy in the area of biologicals. Benedicte Flambard (BF): Enzymes as biocontrol are an untapped segment in the agriculture space, and we are excited to bring this technology to growers around the world. We are partnering with Novozymes early in the development process to accelerate commercialisation. The two companies have established the foundation required to start R&D activities. FMC will now begin screening Novozymes’ bank of enzymes in our Stine Research Center in Delaware, US.
