Sindag/Embrapa collab on aerial application tech extended

A technical co-operation between the Brazilian agriculture research corporation, the Embrapa, and the national association of agricultural aviation companies, the Sindag, for study on aerial application of crop protection products has been extended until March 2025, reports news agency Grupo Cultivar. They initiated the joint exercise in 2013 and a database of agrochemical application methods was presented in 2018. During the new leg of the collaboration, studies are to focus on use of technologies such as drones and manned aeroplanes in agricultural production, while the platform will also be thrown open for participation of new members.
