Amvac clocks 8% rise in Q4 sales

US agrochemical company American Vanguard (Amvac – Los Angeles, California) reported a 7.8% increase in sales including crop and non-crop business to $140.7 million for its fourth fiscal quarter ended December 31st 2020. The company’s US crop protection sales clocked a healthy 19% rise to settle at $74.5 million, while the US non-crop business eroded 45% to around $10.7 million. International sales stood at $55.5 million, rising nearly 15% from the corresponding period previous year.
