Semios acquires US company Altrac

Canadian agriculture technology company Semios (Vancouver, British Columbia) has acquired US agricultural equipment manufacturer Altrac (San Francisco, California). The development follows a partnership between the companies to combine Semios' in-canopy climate sensors with the latter's frost fan automation devices to manage the adverse effects of frost on crops.
