Bayer to build new agchem facility in Russia

Bayer is to build an agrochemical manufacturing facility at Lipetsk in Russia. The plant will mainly focus on the Russian market, while some of its products will be exported to other CIS countries. The company has been progressing on the localisation of its production in collaboration with Russian company Agrokhimikat, which is based in the town of Kirovo-Chepetsk. Products manufactured at the facility make up around 40% of Bayer’s crop protection sales within Russia.
