Coromandel logs 50% rise in Q1 crop protection sales

Indian crop protection and fertiliser company Coromandel International (Secunderabad) posted a 50.3% rise in crop protection sales to Rs 6,314.5 million ($84.9 million at the current rate) for its first quarter ended June 30th 2021. Consolidated sales, including the company’s nutrient and allied business, improved by nearly 15% to settle at Rs 37,019.1 million ($497.5 million). The share of crop protection in the company’s overall revenues expanded to 17.1% from the 13% reported a year earlier.
