Meghmani’s Q1 agchem sales rise 74%

Indian company Meghmani Organics (Ahmedabad) posted a 73.5% rise in agrochemical sales to Rs 3,213 million ($43.2 million at the current rate) for its first fiscal quarter ended June 30th. Consolidated revenues for the period stood at Rs 4,957 million ($66.6 million) after an improvement of 68.4% over last year’s corresponding quarter. Agrochemicals accounted for the bulk of sales at 64.8% (62.9% during last year’s corresponding period).
