Companies which actively work to improve their employer brand have 10 percent lower payroll costs and up to 28 percent lower staff turnover than companies which do not have a strong employer brand, according to Brien Keegan, the country manager for Randstad New Zealand. Randstad undertakes the annual Randstad Award, identifying the country's most attractive employers and Keegan says research also shows that companies can look at their cost-per-hire to determine the impact of improving their employer brand.
