Governing in an uncertain world

These two new Bridget Williams Texts might not, at first blush, appear to have much in common - they do. They're about two critically important and equally debilitating local and global leadership problems. Jonathan Boston argues that New Zealand, and the rest of the democratic world for that matter, will struggle to survive unless we move, and sooner rather than later, to a "more considered, rational, and long term governance" of every organisation - political, commercial whatever. He does, though, focus more on the mess of governmental governance.
