China’s Yingkou Steel Offers Above $500 for Plate

Chinese mills maintained their offers on plate at $500 per ton level into Korea, while Yingkou Steel’s export offers which tend to play a key indicator hiked up to $500 per ton range lately. According to traders, China plate mills placed $505 per ton offers into Korea entering the second week of January. For instance, Fuyang Steel and Tangshan Steel suggested $500 per ton in terms of the March shipment, with the possibility to be delivered until early in the spring into the Korean market.
