FMC sues Aceto in the US over chlorantraniliprole patent breach

FMC has filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the District of Delaware against US company Aceto Corporation(Port Washington,New York),accusing the latter of infringing on its patents relating to the insecticidal active ingredient,chlorantraniliprole(trade-marked a Rynaxypyr).The complaint alleges that Aceto received shipments of the ai from suppliers in India and China in violation of FMC's patent and seeks an injunction restraining the defendant from causing further breaches.FMC has also sought compensation for damages caused by the alleged infringement.
