US satellite technology business Planet (San Francisco, California) has agreed a deal with Los Angeles-based food and agriculture data infrastructure start-up Leaf to provide its PlanetScope satellite imagery service through the latter’s platform. Planet notes that the development will enable Leaf customers to access daily satellite images of agricultural fields at approximately 3 m resolution, besides furnishing them with information dating back to 2015.
