Nigeria OKs import of Bioceres’ HB4 wheat

Nigeria has approved the import of Argentine soybean development consortium Bioceres’ (Rosario) genetically modi?ed HB4 (IND00412) wheat. The country’s GM products watchdog, the National Biosafety Management Agency’s (NBMA) approval comes on the heels of the US FDA releasing its assessment of the GM wheat, airming the safety of the crop. The import permit is valid until July 2025.
