France consults on provisional neonic approval

France has opened a public consultation on a draft decree for provisionally authorising the use of sugar beet seeds treated with products containing the neonicotinoid insecticides, imidacloprid or thiamethoxam. The seed treatments are to tackle yellowing virus damage to the country’s sugar beet crops.
