Biotalys/Biobest forge strategic partnership

Belgian biologicals company Biotalys (Ghent) has agreed a long-term strategic partnership with Westerlo-based peer business Biobest. The development will grant Biobest access to five protein-based biocontrol solutions developed by Biotalys using its proprietary Agrobody Foundry technology platform, with Biobest making them a part of its global offering for covered crops and berries. Furthermore, the deal involves an exclusive distribution agreement involving Biotalys’ protein-based biofungicide, Evoca, in the US for all crops and applications from 2022. An application for the product’s approval is pending with the country’s EPA.
