India proposes raising pesticide registration fees

India’s Central Insecticide Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) has proposed raising the registration fees for pesticides under various categories. The action has been taken keeping in view the complexity, level, nature of application and to promote quality biopesticides’ registration, the Committee says.
