BASF lawsuit against Sharda for alleged patent infringement

BASF has filed a lawsuit in the US against Indian company Sharda Cropchem (Mumbai) and its US subsidiary, Sharda USA, to halt the making, use, sale and import of products allegedly infringing a BASF patent relating to the manufacture and use of the fungicide, pyraclostrobin. Complaints have been filed with the US International Trade Commission (ITC) and in the US Federal District Court for the District of Delaware, the company says.
