UPL clocks 24% rise in Q3 agchem sales

UPL registered a 23.7% rise in sales to Rs 107,420 million ($1,443.7 million at the current rate) for its “agro activities” comprising agrochemicals and seeds for its third fiscal quarter ending December 31st 2021. Agro activities constituted 95.1% (95.2% in last year’s corresponding quarter) of the company’s consolidated quarterly sales, which expanded around 24% to settle at Rs 112,970 million ($1,518.3 million).
