Canada cancels certain uses of naled

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has decided to cancel certain uses of the organophosphate insecticide/acaricide naled, and the end-use insecticide, Dibrom. The decision is contrary to the Agency’s 2019 proposal to ban all uses of the active ingredient due to concerns over its risks to human health and the environment.
