MBI registers 40% rise in Q4 sales

US company Marrone Bio Innovations (MBI – Raleigh, North Carolina) clocked a 40.3% increase in revenues to $10.8 million for its fourth fiscal quarter ended December 31st 2021. The company attributes the bullish performance to “strong demand” for crop protection products from the domestic specialty crops sector, adding that sales were driven by the biofungicide, Regalia (Reynoutria sachalinensis extract), and the bioinsecticides, Venerate (Burkholderia spp strain A396) and Grandevo (Chromobacterium subtsugae strain PRAA4-1T).
