CASE OF THE MONTH

A 50-year-old female executive presented with a 6-week history of several neurological symptoms, including right facial pain and numbness, right arm weakness and myoclonus, mental status changes, slurred speech, and ataxia. These symptoms progressed rapidly over several weeks to the point that she became wheelchair bound.
