Fortescue gets busy to win Tshisekedi's Grand Inga blessing

After several months of delay, Fortescue Metals Group (FFI), the hydrogen development branch of mining company Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) is going all out to get Grand Inga project off the ground. This comprises a series of vast hydroelectric dams, Inga III through VIII, and aims to produce hydrogen. The Australian miner hopes to clinch a preliminary contract with the Congolese authorities by the end of January or early February. This document is required to release the $250m-$300m needed for preparatory work on the site.
