Towards an integrated pollutant exposure assessment model

The project focused on two of the main ways that people are exposed to elevated concentrations of road traffic air pollutants: ? when they are living, working or otherwise spending extended amounts of time next to major roads (the roadside corridor model) while they are travelling in a vehicle. Although there are several existing tools for assessing exposure, many are not suitable for the uses that assessments are generally required for (such as health risk assessments and screening assessments).
