Pupuk Kaltim held a tender on 7 August to sell up to 45,000t of prilled urea for September shipment, setting a minimum price of $266/t fob Bontang. Ameropa submitted the highest bid at $271.38/t fob and took the award. Indonesian urea will move to India for MMTC and likely for RCF as well. A freight inquiry has been circulating for 45,000t to load in Gresik mid-August for shipment to Gangavaram. Swiss Singapore ofered 42,000t at $295/t fob Indonesia in the RCF tender. Freight from Bontang or Gresik is estimated at $12-13/t to the east coast of India.
