摘要

DNA from Artiodactyla of 11 species was examined by restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis, DNA fingerprinting and the RAPD technique (random amplification of polymorphic DNA by the polymerase chain reaction). Deer of Capreolus species showed the highest level of DNA polymorphism of all the species examined. The RAPD technique detected greater variation in molecular genetic markers than the other 2 techniques. The degree of similarity among species for the DNA markers agreed with the generally accepted taxonomy of Artiodactyla.
