摘要

Genetic and cytogenetic analyses were conducted in spring common wheat line L-592 with a waxless spike, obtained by crossing T. aestivum (cv. Rodina) X Aegilops speltoides (k-1316). A new inhibitor gene of the development of waxy bloom on spikes, designated W4I, was identified. A possible location of this gene on chromosome 7S of Ae. speltoides was suggested.
