Oman reports first applications for rebar import permits

Oman is proceeding with the implementation of the new steel import regulation policy, effective from July 2, 2017 andaimed to prevent the inflow of uncertified products to the country. In particular, local authorities report they have startedto receive applications from potential reinforcing steel importers.
