Urea imports were little changed in 2020 at 792,000t, according to statistics from the South African Revenue Service/ GTT, down from 809,000t in 2019. The main change was in the origin of imports. Sabic more than doubled its shipments to South Africa to 407,000t (195,000t in 2019), while Muntajat’s shipments fell to 148,000t (329,000t).
