Prices dropped sharply on the morning of 4 February, before recovering slightly after a lacklustre week of buying interest following a heavy run of trade last week. February traded as low as $326/st fob Nola before recovering to $341/st fob Nola by mid-day in a furry of trades as distributors bought up barges at a steep discount to interior prices. Prices had tracked downwards through the week.
