Brazilian steel sector recovery slower than expected

Global credit rating agency Moody’s Investors Service sees the recovery of the Brazilian steel sector, though slowerthan expected, with higher prices counterbalancing the weak demand in the second half of this year. For the constructionindustry, however, Moody’s sees a recovery only in 2019.
