Market activity has taken a sudden upturn, in reaction to the Russia-Ukraine crisis. Early signs point to wholesalers seeking to build stocks of CAN at current prices, to ensure adequate supply for their customers during the spring season. Pur- chases have been made at €600/t cif inland over the past 24 hours, while business at as low as €560/t cpt was reported from the far east of the country but not confrmed, amid the uncertainty. Prices are set to climb in coming days.
