Isolation and characterization of microsatellites from Seriola dumerili (Risso 1810).

摘要

The isolation and characterization of 20 new microsatellites from greater amberjack (Seriola dumerili) are described. Microsatellite polymorphism was assessed in a sample of 57 wild greater amberjack from the southeastern Spanish Mediterranean using an ABI310 genetic analyser and Genotyper ver. 3.7 software. From the 20 screened loci, the following 9 showed a polymorphism: DQ435597, DQ435598, DQ435599, DQ435600, DQ435601, DQ435602, EF554256, EF554257 and EF554258. No linkage disequilibrium was detected across all loci. The combined exclusion probabilities were calculated for first and second probabilities across all loci, with values of 0.995 and 0.9998 respectively. These results will be useful in the management of wild populations and breeding stocks of greater amberjack in hatcheries.
