摘要

This short communication describes an experimental underwater measuring device using laser beams connected to a video camera for the determination of tuna snout to fork length (SNFL) without handling the animals. This method allows the estimation of the individual weight and feed conversion ratio (FCR) of the animals by converting the length measures into weight.
